"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

As I reach my 1000th submission I am pondering leaving DA, feeling that I have consumed more resources than I was entitled to…During my stay I offended some “artists” and hopefully my work pleased many others. I have not yet decided if I will leave but this thought has crossed my mind several times during the last few days. Perhaps by the time that 1000th submission actually gets posted I will have made up my mind…

No I don't think (and don't want that) it's insulting and you don't need to explain yourself to me. I know very much that what others others do, often seems pointless to oneself. But I would really appreciate it if you could give a statement about your art.
Mainly i like clouds...they are always changing and offer grate photo opportunities, it is a neutral subject that doesn't offend anybody and i find photographing clouds relaxing... Satisfied?
